and maps. Power Trace provides management and
updates.
Reports
The reporting provides you the opportunity to
quickly review the asset history during the period
specified, with additional 15 months of archived
data. All activity associated with the asset is
included in the history report: automatic reporting,
alerts, warnings, commands sent to the unit,
email/SMS notifications sent to the customer - all
can be reviewed using this one single report.
Geozones
With the special tool you can easily draw an area on
the map. You give this zone a own name. You can
option the messages indicate that you want to
receive a notification when the vehicle is moving
within the zone and, for example when the vehicle
leaves the zone. You can also send customers a
message by e-mail or SMS. Especially useful for
courier services. This will allow significant cost
savings, and you create good customer binding.
Also you can park your vehicles in a secure parking
area. If one of your vehicle is stolen and leave
this zone it can be that you will receive an SMS
alert.
Also on your own business , hospital-area ,
airfields, etc., You can create zones excact so you
can see if your supplier(s) are in to the right
zone.

Data security network
operation center
The nerve center for
PowerTrace network operations is located in a
secure, environmentally controlled data center,
manned and operated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,
365 days a year and is continuously monitored by
skilled technicians. From this operations center,
PowerTrace remotely performs equipment and
operations surveillance. The facility is secured by
biometric sensors, CCTV, battery and generator
backup, 2-OC48, GigE, FastE, and VESDA technologies.
The facility includes dry piping fire suppression,
cold spare servers, and four hour on-site parts
replacement.

Performance and
Scalability
PowerTrace servers
are state-of-the-art Intel equipment and built to
withstand any single point of failure, utilizing
RAID drives, dual Intel processors and redundant
power supplies. PowerTrace database, web, map, and
development servers are constantly monitored for
network and application load balancing and are sized
accordingly. The PowerTrace network is currently
capable of supporting more than 200,000 subscribers
simultaneously accessing the system without
degradation in speed or accuracy. PowerTrace'
strategy is to continuously upgrade its network
equipment every 180 days in order to ensure its
ability to support the current subscriber load as
well as the number of expected subscribers six
months in the future. |
