GuardMagic VB6, GuardMagic VB6light

Universal vehicle GPS/ GSM-GPRS module with fuel monitoring and driver identification function.
GuardMagic VB6 module designed for remote supervision of mobile object movement (vehicle, special machinery, etc.) and remote fuel monitoring.
 
Module supports up to THREE regular fuel tanks.
 
GuardMagic VB6light is the same as VB6, but without driver identification components in set.

 GUARDMAGIC VB7 FUNCTIONALITY IN GENERAL:
   
1 MAIN FUNCTION
  • Coordinates definition (GPS position) and parameters of vehicle movement;
  • Transmitting by GSM/GPRS network to the Monitoring Station coordinates of truck, parameters of movement, fuel level in truck fuel tanks, engine On-Off status, engine RPM, status of external sensors and circuits;
  • Driver identification;
  • Storing the GPS data and data from external sensor and circuits in internal non-volatile memory and posterior transmitting this information by GSM/GPRS to monitoring station;
  • Automatic storing data in internal memory than GPRS connection is absent;
  • Automatic starting sending data from memory than GPRS connection appear;
  • Guard function;
  • Immobilizing function;
  • Two types of mode:
    - operation mode;
    - programming mode.
  •  Two types of data sending in operation mode:
    - standard mode;
    - packet mode (data from memory);
  •  Two types of working in operation mode:
    - transport mode;
    - special machinery mode;
  • Three type of operation;
    - “operation”;
    -“ active stand by”;
    - “sleeping” 
  • Programming the size of data packet for sending;
  • Programming the periodicity of data fixing; 
  • User programming module configuration;
  • Independently periodicity of data sending;

2 CONNECTION
  • Main power supply (DC power 12/24 V);
  • Reserve external battery (12V);
  • GPS antenna-receiver (from complete set);
  • Ignition circuit;
  • Up to THREE fuel level sensor in main fuel tanks (digital interface EIA-485);
  • Driver identification reader;
  • “PANIC” (SOS) Button;
  • “EVENT” Button;
  • Truck alarm system;
  • “Engine Overheat” circuit (overheat sensor);
  • Crash sensor (one or three level);
  • Main Fuel Tank empty circuit;
  • Customer logical sensor;
  • Engine RPM sensor;
  • Engine start blocking relay;
  • Customer “executing” relay;
  • External buzzer;
  • In the extension to second EIA-485 communication line can be connect additional devices like: signal concentrator, trailer identification module etc.)
 
 
 3 MONITORING FUNCTION

During the works GuardMagic VB6 in fully automatic mode collect, immediate transmit to monitoring station or store in internal non-volatile memory (about 120 TH records) and posterior transmit to monitoring station by GSM/GPRS network next information:
 
  • Date and time;
  • GPS geographical coordinates of vehicle (GPS track history);
  • GPS and time validity;
  • Vehicle speed, acceleration, deceleration;
  • Engine status (Engine On-Off);
  • Engine RPM;
  • Fuel level up to three main fuel tanks;
  • Active driver;
  • “PANIC” button pressing;
  • “Event” button pressing;
  • Alarm system activation*;
  • Attempt to theft signal*;
  • Engine overheat status*;
  • Main fuel tank empty*;
  • Road accident*;
  • Customer logical sensors status (sensors, special button, door sensors, cargo compartment sensor and etc.);
  • Active driver ID;
  • Status of main power supply (if reserved battery is connecting);
  • Status of GPS receiver.
  • Status of "Fuel Bus" (EIA-485 communication line).
* - if made connection to necessary sensors or circuits.

Attention!
In case of the module connection to the truck alarm system it is necessary to check up the compatibility with the car alarm system established in the car (presence in the car alarm system separate output of operation of the signal system).


4 GUARD FUNCTION
 
  • Truck alarm signal transmitting;
  • Attempt theft signal transmitting;
  • Prevent engine starting without authorization.

5 OTHER
 
  • Transition in “active stand by” mode and “sleep mode” after deenergizing Ignition;
  • Automatic activation from “active stand by” mode or "sleep mode" in case of at activation of any logical inputs;
  • Protection of power circuit against an over voltage;
  • Satellite time synchronization;
  • Protection of inputs circuits against over voltage;
